The ecosystem behind $STONK.
StonkFun runs three existing mechanisms today. Each is separate from the others, and all three are separate from the proposed Holder Crates.
Buyback and burn
StonkFun reports that approximately 60% of platform revenue is used to buy $STONK on the open market and burn it. The rest is retained. Exact splits can vary slightly when pricing volatile custom quote tokens, and when $STONK is the quote token, the mechanism executes a burn without a separate buyback.
Revenue pageHolder rewards
Certain launched tokens distribute rewards to their own holders, usually in the quote token they are paired against. Distributions follow the mechanics of each individual token.
Rewards pageEcosystem Flywheel
A share of trading fees from eligible launches flows to the flywheel, which buys back and burns the platform's top-ranked tokens by market cap, weighted by market cap.

Holders of the official $STONK token on Solana. Holder Crates are not a rewards program for other tokens launched through StonkFun.

Yes. The amount of $STONK you maintain is one of the two primary factors. A larger maintained position can contribute toward a stronger Crate. Exact amounts have not been set.

How is Crate strength determined?

Do I need to deposit $STONK?

What is a Copper Crate?
The introductory classification. Every position starts somewhere.
What is a Bronze Crate?
A stronger classification, for a position beginning to build strength.
What is a Silver Crate?
The middle classification, built for more established holders.
What is a Gold Crate?
A higher classification. A stronger position. A stronger Crate.
What is a Platinum Crate?
The highest Holder Crate classification. Like every tier, it carries no guaranteed outcome.
What happens if I reduce my holdings?
Because Crate strength is based on a maintained position, reducing holdings could lower a classification or affect holding history. How reductions are treated will be defined in the final rules.

Are additional $STONK allocations planned?
The concept is that higher Crate classifications may correspond to larger potential additional $STONK allocations. Funding, amounts and timing have not been established, and no allocations have been made.
Are rewards guaranteed?
No. Nothing on this page is a promise of rewards. Any allocation would depend on final program terms and approved funding.
Have the eligibility thresholds been announced?
No. Thresholds, minimum holding periods, multipliers and snapshot dates have not been announced.
When will final program rules be available?

Is Holder Crates the same as StonkFun's existing holder rewards?
